The scientific mechanism of Zensun's new drug is confirmed by a paper published by a leading American journal

On July 24, 2009, “Cell” published a scientific paper entitled "Neuregulin1/ErbB4 signaling induces cardiomyocyte proliferation and repair of heart injury," co-authored by Professor Kevin Bersell, Department of Cardiology, Children's Hospital, Boston and Professor Bernhard Haring, Department of Pediatrics, Harvard Medical School, Boston.
In this paper, the researchers found that injecting NRG1 into an adult mouse may promote cardiomyocyte proliferation and cell differentiation which will improve cardiac function after myocardial infarction. Their studies have shown that NRG1 can effectively improve cardiac ejection fraction, reduce the inner diameter of the left ventricle, reduce the area of myocardial infarction, and inhibit myocardial hypertrophy.
These results are similar to those shown in Zensun’s JACC paper published in 2006, offering further international peer-reviewed support for the mechanistic importance of rhNRG-1.
